Tracy L. Frankel concentrates her practice in the areas of appeals, general liability, and labor law. She has successfully represented clients in various appellate departments in the State of New York and has appeared in the New York Court of Appeals. In addition to handling complex pre-trial and post-trial motions and appeals, Tracy represents litigants from a case’s inception to trial, and advises insurance companies, law firms, private clients, and trial teams, on the preservation of trial issues for later appellate review.
Tracy has been named a New York Metro Super Lawyer in appellate practice since 2015. In 2016, she was presented with the inaugural Long Island’s Outstanding Women in the Law Award by Hofstra Law Center’s Center for Children, Families and the Law. She served as the President of the Board of Education for the Syosset Central School District from 2018 to 2022 and upon retirement, was given the Advocate in Action Award from the Syosset Council of PTAs.
Tracy has presented continuing legal education courses to the New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers, Nassau County Bar Association, and National Academy for Continuing Legal Education including titles, Effective Appellate Advocacy; Preserving Trial Arguments for Later Appellate Review; A Musical Playlist for Successful Motion Writing; and Substance Meets Procedure: A review of Recent Appellate Decisions Affecting Real Property interests and Tips for Overcoming Appellate Issues Raised Therein.
