Certified Civil Trial Attorney and trusted advisor to insurance carriers, third party administrators, and corporate clients in New Jersey, with more than 30 years of experience in complex claims, coverage, and litigation matters.

I advise insurers, risk managers, and corporate clients on high-exposure casualty matters, including general liability, professional liability/errors and omissions, construction defect, commercial, and environmental claims. My work focuses on evaluating liability and coverage, assessing exposure, setting and adjusting reserves, and guiding litigation and resolution strategy across complex, multi-party claims and layered insurance programs. I provide clear, actionable recommendations that support settlement authority decisions and drive efficient, favorable outcomes.

I prepare and issue coverage opinions and reservation of rights letters involving general liability and professional liability/errors and omissions policies. I also advise on and litigate contractual indemnification and risk transfer issues in matters involving multiple parties, insureds, and insurers.

I serve as a member of emergency response teams for construction and infrastructure clients following catastrophic incidents involving significant personal injury and environmental exposure, providing immediate guidance on liability, coverage, and risk mitigation.

In addition to my client work, I oversee firm operations, including financial performance, strategic growth, and attorney development.

I have created and presented educational programs for the Institute for Continuing Legal Education, the Insurance Council of New Jersey, insurance carriers, and bar associations on insurance coverage, additional insured status, medical causation, and related litigation and claims issues.

Before joining Malapero, Prisco, Klauber & Licata LLP, I was a senior associate at Kelley, Drye & Warren LLP, where I supervised multi-district litigation involving latex glove, breast implant, and dietary supplement claims.

I am certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Civil Trial Attorney and have served as a judicial Special Master and complex commercial mediator in New York. I hold an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell and am listed in Best’s Directories of Recommended Insurance Attorneys and Adjusters.
