Mr. Rejan has specialized in the defense of personal injury actions in the New York State and Federal Courts for over four decades, inclusive of premises, products, labor law, and vehicular and medical malpractice cases. He also has expertise in insurance law, coverage disputes, property damage claims, and professional liability. He has handled well over 1,000 cases from inception to conclusion and has argued before the New York Court of Appeals.
Although he has tried cases against some of New York’s most formidable adversaries, his emphasis is on aggressive efforts to resolve cases on a cost effective basis. Mr. Rejan has been with Malapero since 2008. He previously was a partner engaged in defense work at two other firms and has represented a national retailer for over 25 years. He was instrumental in the successful defense of approximately 30 cases arising out of the phased strategic renovation of the world headquarters of a preeminent financial institution.
