Thomas M. Licata

Mr. Licata has over 30 years of experience in the areas of general and automobile liability defense, workers’ compensation, product liability, commercial litigation, insurance coverage, No-fault/PIP, and fraud in New York and New Jersey State and Federal Courts. Mr. Licata has lectured at the Institute for Continuing Legal Education, Insurance Council of New Jersey, insurance companies, and bar associations regarding insurance, additional insured Status, insurance coverage issues, medical causation related to spinal injuries, forum selection, civil procedure, and conflicts of law.

Before joining Malapero, Prisco, Klauber & Licata LLP, he was a senior associate at Kelley, Drye & Warren, LLP, where he supervised multi-district court litigation across the country involving latex glove, breast implant, and dietary supplement litigation. Mr. Licata has been Certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Civil Trial Attorney. He is a judicial Special Master and judicial complex commercial case mediator.
